Recipe

Lighter than a face cream or milk, this gel contains flower hydrosol and vegetable oil to protect, nourish and soften the skin. Mattifying and regulating (thanks to the properties of palmarosa essential oil), this gel is ideal for normal, combination or oily skin, which it will purify without drying out. The pigments it contains will illuminate the complexion and give a healthy glow.

Description of ingredients: 

Water: it is the solvent of the recipe. It dissolves the other ingredients.

Witch hazel hydrosol: organic and made in France is fragrant, astringent, refreshing and purifying used for combination to oily skin.

Vitamin E: c and antioxidant is essential to avoid oxidation then rancidity of vegetable oils and all oily phases.

Preservative: preservative Cosmos approved by our supplier, allowing the product to be preserved for up to 3 months while avoiding the proliferation of micro-organisms.

Apricot kernel vegetable oil: nourishing but not greasy, this vegetable oil contains beta carotene which gives it its attractive orange color. Renowned for giving a healthy glow and illuminating the complexion, it also softens the skin and protects it from dehydration.
Palmarosa essential oil: regenerating and healing, this essential oil also regulates sebum production. Antiseptic, it purifies the skin and balances the skin flora. It has a fresh and flowery smell reminiscent of the rose, very pleasant to use in a toning gel.

Gold mica: slightly shimmering, this mica will allow you to create the ideal shade adapted to your skin type and will illuminate your complexion.

Usage


Precautions before starting

Before starting, it is advisable to clean and disinfect the work surface and the utensils: the prepared products will go on the skin, it is therefore necessary to avoid any microbial contamination!

Thoroughly clean the BeautyMix. Then, soak a clean cloth in 70° alcohol (available in supermarkets) and use it to disinfect the BeautyMix tank and all the utensils. Let dry.

Clean the work surface and remove objects that could get in the way.

Place a clean paper towel on the work surface, and place the utensils on it. Have available: a clean teaspoon or spatula, and a clean, dry container for pouring the preparation once ready. Wash hands thoroughly.

Respect the dosages indicated for the ingredients of the recipe.

Preparation

Thoroughly disinfect the work surface, the utensils and the BeautyMix with 70° alcohol and clean paper.

Place the flat mixer in the BeautyMix bowl, place the bowl on the scale.

Switch on the scale then perform the tare (zero) by pressing the T key.

Weigh the required amount of hydrosol in the tank.

Press T to reset the scale to 0. Add the required amount of apricot kernel oil.

Press T to reset the scale to 0. Add the required amount of palmarosa essential oil.

Press T to reset the scale to 0. Add the required amount of vitamin E.

Press T to reset the scale to 0. Add the required amount of preservative.

Take one of the transparent trays that protect the balance in order to use one as a container, put it on the balance and press the T key. Weigh the required amount of thickener and gold mica in the tray. (press T between each weighing)

Press T to reset the scale to 0. Add the required amount of Gold Mica.

Before dispersing the thickener and the gold mica in the tank, start the blue program by pressing the button twice. Once the program has started, gently disperse the thickener and the Gold mica little by little, then close the tank with its lid and wait for the end of the programme.

At the end of the program, gently transfer to a clean, disinfected glass container. Label the product with the following information: name of the recipe, ingredients, date of manufacture, expiry date and capacity.

To wash the tank, fill it with water up to the upper line with a little washing-up liquid and start the program (purple) by pressing once.
